What's New

The latest Bookit updates have been released to the live environment, introducing a series of enhancements across the platform. Take a look below to see what’s new, and reach out to our Support Team if you’d like more information.

Improved Grouped Stock Reports

We’ve improved stock reporting for NZ Bookit Classic customers with enhancements to the existing Grouped Stock Excel report and the introduction of a new Grouped Stocktake Excel report for retail-focused isite locations.

The updated Grouped Stock report now includes repeated page headers, page numbering, and improved item ordering by supplier, sub-category, and cost centre code, making reports clearer, easier to navigate, and more efficient to use across larger stock lists.

We’ve also introduced a new Grouped Stocktake report, designed to make stocktakes faster and more practical to complete. Using the same familiar grouped layout, the report includes a dedicated Count column for recording quantities by hand, helping teams work through stocktakes more consistently and with less manual preparation.

Your Guests Can Now Download Their Own Tax Invoices

Guests can now download Tax Invoices directly from the Guest Portal, giving them quick and easy access to their booking invoice whenever they need it.

With a new one-click download option available in the portal, guests can self-service their invoice requests without needing to contact your team, saving time for both guests and operators while improving the post-booking experience.

Booking Gadget Improvements

We’ve introduced clearer date information across the Online Public Hosted Website, Staff Console Gadgets Menu, and Affiliate Console Gadgets Menu for Tour and Ticket products where expiry dates are configured.

To improve booking visibility and reduce confusion for customers, Tour products will now display both a Start Date and Expiry Date throughout the booking journey, including:

  • Booking Summary
  • Your Cart
  • My Bookings

We’ve also updated existing date labels from “Date” to “Start Date” to provide clearer context for bookings with expiry periods.

Improved Historical Itinerary Date Reporting

Following our recent release introducing the Itinerary Date field for new bookings in reporting, we’re now progressively updating historical booking and itinerary data for bookings made from 1 July 2025 onwards so the Itinerary Date field becomes available across older records over time.

This update will improve reporting consistency and visibility across both current and historical booking data.
