A Simpler, More Secure Way to Pay – Rolling Out Now 

We’re rolling out a new, secure payment experience for guests completing online bookings.

When it’s time to pay, guests will be securely directed to a dedicated payment page to enter their card details and complete payment before returning to your website for their booking confirmation.

The new payment experience is being introduced progressively, and we’ll contact you directly before it goes live for your account, so you’ll know when to expect the change.

Cash Payments Just Got Easier – New Zealand 

Processing cash payments for accommodation and travel bookings in New Zealand is now easier.

When a booking is paid by cash, Bookit will now automatically apply cash rounding to the transaction.

Previously, staff needed to manually adjust the booking to account for cash rounding. This update removes that extra step, making cash transactions quicker and simpler to process.

Get More Insight from Every Miscellaneous Sale

Bookit Lite users can now capture additional guest information when processing a POS Miscellaneous Sale.

A new guest details pop-up allows staff to capture guest and contact details, including country of origin, as part of the sale.

This information will flow through to reporting, giving you more information about your customers and where they are visiting from.
