This article explains how to use the Misc Sales Breakdown report within Bookit Lite POS. The Misc Sales Breakdown report provides detailed sales information for miscellaneous items sold through the POS, including transaction details, discounts applied, product costs, and income generated.


Accessing the Misc Sales Breakdown Report

1. Open the left-hand navigation menu.

2. Select Retail.

3. Select Misc Sales Breakdown Report


Understanding the Sales Summary Report

The Misc Sales Breakdown report provides detailed sales information for miscellaneous items sold through the POS.


The report contains two tabs:

  • Detailed Breakdown: Displays individual sales transactions.
  • Supplier Summary: Displays sales totals grouped by supplier.


Filtering the Report

Filters can be applied to narrow the sales results displayed.


Available filters include:

  • Sales From
  • Sales To
  • Register
  • Sold By
  • Suppliers
  • Products
  • Group By


Once filters have been selected, select Run Report to update the report results.


Understanding the Detailed Breakdown Columns

Available columns include:

  • Supplier: The supplier associated with the item sold.
  • Product: The miscellaneous item sold.
  • Ref #: The transaction reference number.
  • Description: Additional information entered against the sale.
  • Sale Date: The date the sale was processed.
  • Retail (Pre-Discount): The retail value before discounts were applied.
  • Discount: The total discount value applied.
  • Retail: The final retail value after discounts.
  • Net Cost: The total cost of the item sold.
  • Net Income: The profit generated from the sale.


When grouped by Supplier, subtotals are displayed for each supplier, with an overall total displayed at the bottom of the report.


Understanding the Supplier Summary Columns

Available columns include:

  • Supplier: The supplier name.
  • Retail (Pre-Discount): The total retail value before discounts were applied.
  • Discount: The total discount value applied.
  • Retail: The final retail value after discounts.
  • Net Cost: The total cost of items sold.
  • Net Income: The profit generated from sales.


Exporting the Report

The Misc Sales Breakdown report can be exported for further analysis or reporting.


Available export options include:

1. Export to CSV – opens the report data in Excel or Google Sheets.
