What's New
The latest Bookit updates have been released to the live environment, introducing a series of enhancements across the platform. Take a look below to see what’s new, and reach out to our Support Team if you’d like more information.
Itinerary Date Now Available in Reporting
The Itinerary Date field is now available in Report Builder and the reporting API, providing greater visibility into the original booking date of an itinerary. Previously, this information was not accessible for reporting, making it difficult to accurately track booking lead times as standard booking dates can change when modifications are made. This enhancement applies to all bookings made from today onwards and enables more reliable reporting and analysis, particularly for clients with advanced reporting needs.
Lite (Coming Soon) – Ongoing Development Update
We’re continuing to make strong progress on our upcoming Lite solution, with a focus on refining core booking experiences, strengthening marketplace connectivity, and enhancing user access controls. These ongoing improvements are shaping Lite into a more streamlined and scalable platform, designed to support evolving customer needs. We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to sharing more as we move closer to launch.
Bulk Stock Management Support for Retail
We’ve enhanced our retail stock management capabilities to better support clients with large and complex product ranges. Previously, updating stock levels required manual adjustments one product at a time, which could be time-consuming and difficult to manage at scale. With this improvement, stock levels can now be exported, updated in bulk, and re-imported with built-in validation checks to ensure accuracy. This provides a faster, more efficient way for clients to manage their inventory. For more information, please contact our support team.
Permit Expiry Date Now Available via API
Permit expiry date information is now available via API for tour and ticket products. This allows integrators to retrieve the relevant expiry date based on the operator, product, and selected travel date, supporting more accurate display of permit information earlier in the booking flow.
