The latest Bookit updates have been released to the live environment, introducing a series of enhancements across the platform. Take a look below to see what’s new, and reach out to our Support Team if you’d like more information.
Stay signed in while you're working
We’ve improved the way Bookit manages login sessions to reduce unexpected sign‑outs. If you’re actively using Bookit, your session will now stay active while you work, helping prevent staff being logged out mid-task and keeping your day moving without interruptions.
Bookit Lite: Ongoing work for the New Zealand launch
We’re continuing to refine Bookit Lite as we prepare for its upcoming launch in New Zealand. The goal is a more streamlined, connected booking experience that brings isites, tourism operators, and travellers closer together. This work is happening behind the scenes, and we’ll share more as we get closer to launch.
Payment gateway modernisation: Stronger security, smoother payments
We’re continuing to modernise Bookit’s payment gateway to keep security strong and maintain a smooth payment experience. This work is happening behind the scenes as we progress toward a newer, secure frame work.
Right now, these updates are focused on improving how payments and refunds are processed in the background, aligning older gateway behaviour with more secure tokenised payment flows, strengthening transaction logging, and simplifying gateway configuration.
There’s no change to how you use Bookit today, and no action is required.
